TESTIMONIAL

“The things you teach about are exactly the things I need to learn about so my dog and I can live our best lives together.”

Wendy Carey

If you think about it, dogs have been selectively bred for many many years to pay attention to prey. But all the top dog trainers, no matter what their specialty, share one skill. They all know how to observe their dog closely and use what they see to successfully train their dog. Just imagine if you had that skill and if you could use it to improve your dog’s focus when you are out on walks.

TESTIMONIAL

““I’d also like to just say, that a huge amount of my understanding of Cally has been through your guidance and encouragements because I was really struggling before I came across your training. Now I’m beginning to enjoy who she is rather than us keep fighting against one another and I’m sure she’s happier now too.””

Hi – I’m Tracey and I know exactly what you are going through. I adopted a collie cross puppy from Dogs Trust in 2007. I named him Cuillin after mountains on the island of Skye because he had a look of wildness about him. He grew up to have a high prey drive. I did not know what to do about it and often felt as if he would just suddenly disappear on me. Walks were often stressful and upsetting.

Then I started learning more about it. I learned to really watch Cuillin and to understand what he loved to do. The more I studied him and learned about prey drive in dogs, the easier he was to walk and the more interested I became. So much so that I am now dedicating myself to prey drive in dogs.

I have a young working bred cocker spaniel – a breed I chose because they often have a high prey drive. I am currently studying for an MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training and have made prey drive in dogs a focus for my time as a student.

I have over 15 years of experience and am also fully qualified to give advice and support with dog behaviour and training. I have a BSc (hons) degree in Canine Behaviour and Training. I am a Tellington TTouch Practitioner and an ACE Advanced Tutor.

“Tracey imparts her wisdom in such a helpful and supportive manner, and the private facebook group was brilliant for sharing experiences with the other attendees. And I've now got lots of new fun ideas of how to work with Alice's prey drive.”
