Teach your dog an emergency stop.

  • Do you sometimes wish you could stop your dog at a distance as they run away from you?

  • When you see other people out walking with their dogs, do you feel as if your dog runs faster than the other dogs and gets further away?

  • Does it sometimes feel as if the walk is a bit out of your control?

Some dogs are fast and just love to run. Sometimes it’s hard for them to turn around and come straight back. The temptation of whatever they are running toward can be too much to allow them to turn away.

For those dogs, a recall might be ignored in that moment, putting them at risk of getting too far away or worse, getting themselves – and you - into trouble.

“I've completed two of Tracey's online courses and I really enjoyed them. Tracey breakes everything down into manageable tasks, explains it really well and demonstrates all steps in short and helpful videos.“

Kareen Aufm Kampe

Imagine if you could get your dog to do an emergency stop if you could see them getting too far away.

Would that help to make your walks feel better?

If it would, I have an online class that you might like.

Sensational Stops will teach you step by step how to train your dog how to do an emergency stop.

“Really easy to fit in with life and easy to understand. Affordable for everyone.“

The workshop content on its own is well worth the money I charge but I love to give valuable extras. With this one you'll get.

Hi – I’m Tracey and I’ve been living with over excited dogs for years now. Cuillin – my wonderful collie cross – was so excited about rabbits, cats, and squirrels that he was hard to walk when he was young. My Staffie cross, Roxy, like many dogs like her, gets excited about many things. She injured my back quite badly when she first moved in because of the way her excitement made her behave on the lead. I used the things I teach in the class to help her be calmer on the lead. Touch wood, my back has been fine for years now.

I have over 15 years of experience and am also fully qualified to give advice and support with dog behaviour and training. I have a BSc (hons) degree in Canine Behaviour and Training. I am a Tellington TTouch Practitioner and an ACE Advanced Tutor. I am currently studying for an MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training and have made prey drive in dogs a focus for my time as a student. I have a particular focus on dogs with a high prey drive.

“The course was very easy to follow and enabled you to reward your dog at each stage.”
