Prey Drive Essentials

Your 4-week starter programme for calmer walks

The Day Everything Changed

I’ll never forget being told about this moment.

Her dog — a notorious wildlife chaser — had just spotted movement in the undergrowth. Normally, that was the point where the dog would vanish for 10 minutes or more. But not this time. This time . . . the dog paused, looked back and then ran to her delighted owner.

Those moments are what I aim for with every client. I'm aiming for more than good training. I want you to have the kind of life-changing connection that makes your walks a joy instead of a battle.

I’ve seen this transformation in hundreds of dogs and owners, and it always starts the same way:

With the right plan, the right tools, and the right support.

The Struggle You Know All Too Well

If you’re living with a dog with high prey drive, you probably face at least one of these regularly:

  • Long lines that feel like a hazard, with your dog lunging to the end and ignoring you.
  • Recall that works perfectly . . . until there’s wildlife.
  • Feeling like you need to spot danger before your dog does just to avoid disaster.
  • Guilt that you can’t give them the “right” life for their breed.
  • Frustration that all your training works at home, but vanishes outside.

You’re not alone — and none of this means your dog is untrainable.

It just means you need a targeted, proven approach designed for prey-driven dogs.

Maybe you still have some questions.

Click on any question below for detailed answers that will help you decide if Prey Drive Essentials is the perfect fit for you!

Q. What if I’m not sure it’s prey drive?

No problem. This short course is made for somebody like you. As we go through, do the lessons and discuss your dog in the private area, you'll learn enough to be able to be sure if prey drive is causing the problems you are having with your dog.

Q. I’ve tried training before — what makes this different?

Most training isn’t designed for prey drive. This course is built entirely around the challenges you face — with specific techniques for dogs who go deaf to cues in high-arousal moments.

Q. What if I’m really busy?

The lessons are short (10–15 mins) and come with simple, actionable steps. Even if you can only do 5 minutes a day, you’ll still see progress.

Q. When are the zoom calls?

The zoom calls will be on Thursday the 4th and Thursday the 25th of September at 7pm UK time. I will record them so you can watch the recording if you can't make them live. And you can send me questions in advance if you'd like to make sure your question is included.

Q. I’m not techy — will I be able to use the course?

Yes. The platform is simple to use, and I’ll send you a step-by-step welcome email. You can also email me if you get stuck.

Q. Is this suitable if I’ve got more than one dog?

Absolutely. I'll guide you to help you train each of your dogs effectively.

Q. Do I need special equipment?

No. You might choose to buy new toys, test out new foods with your dog or a new harness or long line - but none of that is essential.
