This group of dogs is a mix of breeds and types. What brings them together is that they have all moved countries and have lived in two dramatically different situations.

There were 18 dogs of this type in my research. As you can see, although the numbers show that they were number seven on the list of dogs with no interest in some parts of the predatory motor sequence , that does not mean that the Romanian dogs have no interest in prey animals. All 18 of the dogs had some level of interest in hunt, orient and chase. When it came to hunt, 50% of the Romanian dogs were described as living to do it while 28% and 39% were described as living to orient and chase.
